It has been said that we have lost the culture war. I don't believe that it's true. We've just temporarily surrendered it. And we did so without a collective fight and, surprisingly, in the spirit of the very morals we are lamenting the exploitation and loss of. What I especially appreciated about Sarah Cain's article is the manner in which she describes and gets to the very heart of the slippery slope of moral cowardice. To be sure, we were already collectively standing with one foot on a "cultural banana peel." How so? Cancel culture, political and legal double standards, a sympathetic and manipulative media system, woke politicians and business leaders all lending themselves to the public perception that resistance is futile - and can actually be quite harmful to you. Furthermore, cowardice is the only safe way forward. However, all is not lost! And it would be a shameful and undeserved disgrace heaped upon all of those who have gone before us in the name of their personal sacrifices for all of the successes we have enjoyed in this great nation. Doesn't that mean anything? It should. Sarah Cain nails it down with her observations and analysis of how we got here and where we are headed if we don't follow our inner moral compasses. We should it to heart
