As more people consider there is no higher authority than oneself, i.e., they reject God as the creator and therefore, has authority over man (and all of creation), they do not believe there is anything such as a moral and ethical line whereby if something is possible, it should be pursued and no matter the results, made legal. Everyone decides for themselves what is right or wrong and if their decisions harm themselves or others, the will not take responsibility and blame the harm on others.
