As we approach Christmas and the end of the year, I wish to thank all of you for joining me on this venture—not just for reading and sharing these articles (though I do appreciate that), but for your efforts to join in the cause for the good. Ultimately, I think our battle can be summarized that way. Perhaps in former days, things were less clear, but now we are in a time in which mutilating children has become commonplace. One of the few opportunities for redemption in this situation is that it should help to eliminate ambiguities and lukewarmness.
It is in such times that we can also better appreciate our friends. We can recognize the sacrifices that are being made in the cause of speaking Truth, and be edified by the decisions of those who would accept risks for an ultimate good. Each day when people refuse to use the incorrect pronouns, speak in defense of natural marriage, and defend the innocence of children, they place truth and goodness above their own comfort.
It’s interesting because reflecting upon these things makes the reason that we celebrate this season clearer. It is in recognition of the Light who enters the world — the embodiment of Truth itself. In an era that seems hellbent on lies, and in a culture so immersed in darkness, let us remember that for followers of Christ, the season of Advent comes to a close. We cease anticipation and begin celebration of His reign. We may celebrate the Antidote to the darkness. It is in His birth that we find redemption and salvation.
As we approach the birth of Christ together, recall that it is this moment that sets us apart from the secular world. It is Christ’s entrance into the world that provides the separation from the frenetic and the despairing. The secular world has no cause for celebration, and they do not see the Light that gives reason for joy. But we do.
Merry Christmas everyone, and thank you for all that you do to further the cause.
Sarah. I love the way you think. Thank you so much for expressing what so many of us think and feel.
Keep the good, positive energy in play all year. We love you
Merry Christmas 🎄
God bless you ,
Jack
