Sarah, hope you are feeling better this week. π
Nice, well-written article.
Yet, it is a sad sign of the times and the current state of the world, that most of your recent articles are a defense of what until recently, was basic common sense needing no defense at all.
I'm glad you are writing them, but am disheartened that it is needed at all.

Ecclesiastes 1:9-11 applies, quoting verse 10 (NAB) βEven the thing of which we say, βSee, this is new!β has already existed in the ages that preceded usβ what is footnoted to 3:15 reminding us that God restores.
Submission to sin is enslavement to these senseless trends. Who would want such dehumanizing behavior? The enemy, who is our own sinful nature in the final analysis.
