I have been told that I need to have surgery, and that I may not safely delay. I have lost the ability to eat most foods, because my gallbladder needs to be removed. Surgery is scheduled for May 6th, and I would appreciate your prayers for its success and a rapid recovery.
Praying for you Sarah. I've had gallbladder surgery (Dr. Goco in Winston-Salem) and the surgery/recovery were a snap -- no issues. There are long term effects with greasy food but you adjust and get used to that. All the best!
I will be praying that the surgery and recovery goes smoothly. My mother had surgery a few months ago. It is a frightening experience. I know it is hard, but try not to think too much about it, and trust in God!
I had the same surgery in 1996, and it all went smoothly. Three little holes and you are done. Fifty years ago, you would have been cut open with a much longer recovery period.
I know how bad the pain is if it has gotten to the point you are having it removed. Every time you consume even a microscopic amount of fat, like in coffee and milk, the pain kicks in.
I will pray for your swift recovery, but I am confident that, having gone through it myself that you will be Ok.
I have no practical advice for surgery , but I do know The Healer. I proclaim an easy surgery for you without complications. May the surgeon be guided by the Father's loving hand and may recovery be a time of joyous rest surrounded by the healing love made possible through the son Jesus Christ.God is with you, my dear and you will recover in the name of Jesus Christ.
I have not been through this myself, but I know others who have (including my mother). Recovery was long and uncomfortable, and there were some permanent dietary restrictions. Nevertheless with patience, recovery can be had, and an active lifestyle resumed. That’s the only advice I can give you; patience and a serene determination can get you through.
Sarah, my sister and my husband have both had their gall bladders removed. Both were in much pain before the surgery and both were much better afterwards. It is not nearly as major an ordeal as it used to be. It’s always frightening to think of going under anesthesia and the knife, and if it’s happening to you, not the guy next door, it’s serious! I have had surgery before, and it gives you pause. Praying for a completely successful surgery for u and a rapid recovery. Also, for God to guide the surgeon’s hands for accuracy and no mistakes. May His angels surround u and protect u, God bless❣️🍒
My dear wife had this done a few years ago, after years of various food issues. We discovered that she was not, in fact, allergic to eggs...
Better to get this done now, dear lady, while you still can.
God bless.

My prayers are with you.
My 41 year old male friend went through gall bladder surgery, he was back to normal within a week. May yours be as successful. God be with you.
