It’s a protease inhibitor-type antiviral drug. So I looked up protease inhibitor. They are amazing drugs and are also used to treat protozoal diseases, like gastrointestinal protozoans (e.g., Giardia), also Chagas Disease and have anti-malarial properties. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protease_inhibitor_(pharmacology)
So I got to thinking and looked up one other thing; here’s the very first hit:
Effect of ivermectin on combined intestinal protozoal infection (giardiasis and cryptosporidiosis).
Ivermectin, a broad spectrum antiparasitic agent. This study was carried out to investigate its activity against two common protozoal infection, giardiasis and cryptsporidiosis. The results of this study showed that ivermectin therapy is effective against both parasites at a dose of 200 micrograms/kg. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8918027/
There seems to be a common vulnerability to anti-protozoals in the covid virus. But Pfizer is going to make billions off of it. Now we know why they have been trashing Ivermec. If this is true, think of the ramifications….
