Disney just canceled its plans to build a large office complex in Orlando. It attributes Governor Ron Desantis’ anti-Disney policies and rhetoric for the move. The left-leaning Miami Herald covered the story:
Boom. A billion dollars, evaporating into thin air. That’s the price tag now attached to DeSantis’ over-the-top, politically opportunistic war on “woke.”
The assertion here implies that conservatives should be upset that Disney has chosen not to expand within Florida, because that results in money being lost for the state. It’s an incredibly broken view of the world. It’s also a demonstration of the modern left attempting to dictate priorities to the rest of us.
If there are values beyond merely fiscal ones, as DeSantis has argued in regards to Disney’s promotion of LGBT material to children, then they are worth losing money for. If children matter to us, then the money is not at issue, and it surely isn’t the primary consideration. If it were, then we would be placing a metaphorical price tag on children’s lives.
The Miami Herald could be forgiven for believing that monetary issues are all that conservatives care about, considering the state of conservatism today, in which there are so few cultural conservatives and so many fiscal libertarians. Yet, there has been a shift taking place of late. Within the conservative sphere, the topics of LGBT indoctrination and trans degeneracy have maintained significant attention. This signals that more people are paying attention to the cultural part of the equation, at long last. Surely, it’s especially hard to ignore the cultural battles for those who have children who are growing up in this environment.
It’s absurd to argue about free trade and tax rates, even though those are valid political issues, when children are being given puberty blockers that will prevent them from ever reaching adult maturity, effectually sterilizing them. When minors are being exposed to sexual displays at libraries and taken to strip joints, we cannot go home and pretend that everything is normal. The culture war is everything. It is the war over whether we seek to be a moral society, which is to say one worthy of surviving, or not.
So, should those in Florida really be disappointed that a degenerate company isn’t expanding in their neighborhoods? On the contrary, it should be considered a victory. Disney is the company that seems to have its employees charged in pedophilia nets every year. It doesn’t take a scrupulous internet search to find the litany of stories in which their employees are caught in dragnets and charged with everything from child pornography to child sex trafficking.
In fairness, some of that can be explained because the company principally deals with and targets its attention to children, the prey of pedophiles. Pedophiles are inherently predatory by nature, so they often seek children by becoming school teachers, coaches, etc. However, surely Disney’s modern company policy of repeatedly giving sexual messages to children is only going to worsen this. Every show in which homosexuality or transgenderism is promoted is inherently sexual, and as Disney employees mentioned in leaked internal conversations, they have a “not at all secret gay agenda”.
I reject the notion that we should care so little about moral values that we would build a society at the expense of our young. The opposite should be the case — what we construct now should be built so as to be able to hand over our traditions and our culture to them. It is what they are rightfully owed.
F Disney and there gaywads
If Walt Disney was alive today this problem would not exist as he would never employed these people who are now in charge with their dystopian idea's / Agenda's .
Have a look at the Disney Logo , you should be able to see 6 6 6 in the letters.
