Have you actually studied islam—not from revisionist propagandists but that actual doctrines from their “holy” book and how to interpret them (the later in time—the beheading stuff—trump the earlier—islam is peaceful? If so, I am unsure of what your point is.

In any event, it appears you missed the real point of my comment—the “moderate” (in the Christian context the term would be “lukewarm” which God is not at all fond of) “islamists are regarded no better than (and in many ways worse) infidels by “devout” islamists.
While all Christians should pray and hope that God in His mercy will continue to seek and save all lost people, including islamists, just as with other unbelievers, most (the “wide path”) will reject Him. If we are Christians, we should certainly not be hoping the “extremist” (again, that is a LIE) islamists will “moderate” themselves as even if they did they are still lost and going straight to hell just like the “devout” catholics and protestants who rely on their religiosity or other unbelievers trying to be “good” instead of humbling themselves and being actually born again as God freely offers.
As to your apparent point about stoning (and the many other Levitical rules based on the Law), the dispensation of the NT which is Grace wholly trumps the OT dispensation of the Law and blood sacrifice.
