Absolutely awesome analysis of not just one example of a "vulgar barbarian", but of why we are where we are today. You have wrapped up so much into this one essay. Brilliant thinking and writing. The problem is really two-fold: men who refuse to rise above their baser instincts, and women who accept that. Another key part of the problem is viewing the individual as the basic building block of a civilized society rather than the family.

“Previous civilizations have been overthrown from without by the incursion of barbarian hordes. Christendom has dreamed up its own dissolution in the minds of its own intellectual elite. Our barbarians are home products, indoctrinated at the public expense, urged on by the media systematically stage by stage, dismantling Christendom, depreciating and deprecating all its values.”

Outstanding article Crusader Gal. This misogynist is one of many fools who think he is God. He has no concept of what a real man is , one who stands up and delivers for his family. He is still in the world of pornography only this time making babies rather than just producing film. What scares me is not this moron, but the dolts in the media who buy into it and perpetuate it with their voices reaching millions. Sarah, I thought this article was one of your best. Keep up the good work.

Unfortunately, Elon and Trump, who I both admire (as you say, in spite of of their sins), have somewhat embraced this.

Thanks, Sarah. I've written about Tate on a number of occasions and might have written about the statement of his that you addressed, but now I don't need to!

I see people like Tate as the natural and unavoidable reaction to misandrist and androphobic feminism. To hell with both sides.

Unless we allow God's grace to transform us, such attitudes are inevitable. Pulling the pendulum in the opposite direction, as Andrew Tate has done, only keeps it moving.

Andrew Tate is a narcissistic clown. I suppose he gets some support because certain people view him as a reaction against the feminization of society. However, if his fans think he's a worthy example of masculinity, then they are utterly misguided. His attitudes and actions have nothing to do with real masculinity...they're just toxic stupidity.

THANK YOU for speaking out against Andrew Tate. I cannot understand why a man with such horrible views has become so popular. More people need to speak against him before more men believe his vile lies.

Again the Pollyanna view of reality is shrouded by the virtue signaling from an amen chorus of the “elect”, or should I say self elected. God is steadily calling men like this (Trump) to the battle that you have refused to fight for yourselves. In case you haven’t noticed but the church (not the Triune God) has lost the battle, Pedophilia, corruption, etc) in actuality it never showed up for. Our Father is a fighter, a warrior, he has not changed and he demands that from his elect. He demands a sacrifice unto death if he requires. Go reread Judges and the Old Testament. A parade of imperfect people made perfect by their willingness to sacrifice, fight and even die for God. And don’t you dare try and hide behind Christ, who as the original warrior and Captain of the Hosts, came to earth and demonstrated that exact formula.
