PubMed has an article which explores how many doctors (more than 50%) were early adopters and eager participants in Hitler's "Final Solution" to rid the world of mental defectives, gypsies, gay people, the infirm (the Aktion T4), and eventually, the Jews. Not only did doctors eagerly participate, but they were driving the ship. The article then warns about parallels promoting euthanasia today.

"The Nazi Physicians as Leaders in Eugenics and “Euthanasia”: Lessons for Today"

And here's a second interesting tidbit, from an "academic" viewpoint:

"Compulsory Death: A Historiographic Study of the Eugenics and Euthanasia Movements in Nazi Germany"

History may not repeat itself, but it often rhymes.

A few points of distinction in your statement, the theme is correct, but:-

1. The Final Solution, was to rid Germany of the Jews ; not by killing them but by

deportation or transportation.

2. Action T4, was to rid what the doctors described as useless eaters.

3. Eugenics, originated in the UK and America before 1930 and adopted by Germany.

4. Concentration Camps, were inaugurated by the British in the Boer War 1899.

Finding truth in history is quite the tug-o-war. Some historians could also be known as cherry pickers. It is not easy to discern truth seekers from cherry pickers, on all sides of the story line. I suppose the adage "stretching the truth" was coined by an historian and not a fisherman.

A good maxims to bear in mind.

Winston Churchill said; History is fine if, only half of it were true.

Also the truth must be protected by a bodyguard of lies.
