For too long, conservatives have accepted the libertarian mantra that they shouldn't use governmental force to achieve their ends. That's how we got drag queen story hour and mutilated kids. The recent rollback of these policies shows us that power is what works.
No greater evil except abortion has ever been directed towards children. This hatred of children is directed by the demons who have clearly either taken control of the people who would do this to them or approve it be done or they are clearly influenced by them.
I'm not optimistic this practice has ended forever.
We got drag queen story hour because libraries were public libraries run (indirectly) by the various levels of government that decided equal access should be given to people with diverse and perverse views. If every local library was run by the local population (without interference from a higher level government pushing nondiscrimination of perverse behavior), and got their income and operating expenses entirely from the local population, this sort of thing would have never happened. (It is a perverse interpretation of freedom of the press and speech to believe it gives people the right to be heard, or the forces people to listen to someone whom they do not wish to listen to. Because of this perverse interpretation libraries can use it as an excuse to provide reading material that parents don't want in their school library.) All this deterioration entered the USA because the federal government got involved in policy issues that had been reserved to the States, and trying to do something about States that imposed racial segregation. But instead of admitting that racial discrimination was something that had been forced by the government, the government decided to assume that people were voluntarily discriminating of the basis of race and thus began policing peoples thoughts. But if discriminating on the basis of race is bad, so it was assumed that discriminating on the basis of sex was bad (hence life insurance and health insurance had to be issued as if men and women had the same health issues and equal life spans rather than based on historical probabilities of events). Then it was asssumed that if these are bad forms of discrimination, discrimination based on sexual orientation was presumed to be a problem for government to try to eliminate, followed by punishing those who presumed that married women might want to have children and take care of them themselves. All of this is the slippery slope we have been sliding down because government put itself in charge of things that individual people and groups of people should be in charge of. The main reason we have crazy abortion laws is because the US Supreme Court made up a constitutional right murder unborn babies. And this gradually changed attitudes about abortion.
Proof that Doctors, the law, Barristers, Judges, Politicians etc al do not have a moral compass of what is right and wrong and come to that some parents.
