For the past few months, I’ve been dealing with a degree of exhaustion that I couldn’t quite explain. At first, I thought it was simple fatigue, but it progressively worsened and has become rather debilitating.
Sarah - I'm so sorry you are having this issue with your tonsils and know that you are in our prayers for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. We wish you all the very best.
As a young kid, I remember "getting my tonsils out" with the recovery involving ice cream and sherbet at regular intervals (stock up now)........ so there ARE positives to the experience! You will feel noticeably better afterwards.
So sorry to hear this! I pray your surgery is scheduled soon and that it goes well. Also for a good recovery. May God's grace aid you as you navigate these difficult moments. I don't deal with physical exhaustion so much as I do with nervous exhaustion, but I know how difficult it is to not feel 100% when you'd like to be productive.
Wow have missed your posts especially with what has happened in England!
I enjoy your plain spoken common sense missing in most public discourse these days. Thanks for all the Courage & rational thinking you have given to us "cradle Catholics"
Sarah...you are in my daily Rosary prayers....right below Ellen. If there is anything you need ,please contact me or NIna....we can assist and help you. Promise.
2. Going public upgrades the battle and makes targeting (especially with the current tech) far more effective. So I'd keep in mind John 19:11 (no authority over unless permitted from above).
3. Sleep apnea is real. Gave me 2 heart attacks while sleeping, despite no underlying cardiac issues of any kind. Main culprits: visceral fat and chronic inflammations.
In my case: Was in no way overweight, but still dropped 20kg to remove a meager 200g of visceral fat in the neck area blocking airways at night by marginally making them narrow enough to block when lying on my back (check: snoring).
How? By the double-wammy of removing seed oils and commercial wheat and cow dairy for 6 months to help the body rest from micro-inflammations. Same thing that dropped the 20kg. No diet. Only selective fasting. Otherwise full portions.
Result: Complete recovery. Used C-pap during that period due to the infarction risk (which you don't have).
Bonus: sleep on side. religiously. never on the back. no exceptions. set up bed accordingly to make rolling over impossible.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers dear girl. Having had my tonsils out at the age of twenty one, I'd like to offer you a bit of advice. Ask the surgeon how they will close up the wound? If there is a choice between stitches or cauterization, PLEASE take the stitches. I will not shock you with the gory details of what happened to me but I always tell people to take stitches all the time (if they are even offered anymore).
I'm sorry you've had to endure so much lately, but it's inspiring to see the character that your suffering and perseverance in the Faith continue to build in you. Thank you for continuing to uphold the Faith and call out the evils that are so common today. Prayers for your swift recovery.
I implore Romans 8:28 for you Sarah. Lord bring about the good that you have in mind for Sarah, and let nothing come between her and the love you have for her, your cherished daughter.
You're welcome. I attend the TLM in San Antonio, Texas. St. Timothy's. ( A bit of a rough neighborhood. Good people there though. ) Vatican and archdiocese approved. At the end of January we submitted letters for another two years. From what I hear Rome has our letters and have not responded. ( So, business as usual. ) We offer the TLM on Sundays at 12:30 p.m. The other Masses are Novus Ordo. We try to have two Missa Cantatas a month with our small choir. The church building itself is a modern building built in 1972 if my information is correct. It is a circular build with the altar directly in the middle. No choir loft. The main congregation is about 270 degress of the circle and the 90 degrees behind the altar is the chapel. We mark off the front pews during the TLM for recieving Holy Communion. We make it work. We have been in this parish for over seven years. Before this it was at St. Pius X parish ( not SSPX ) for an number of years not sure how long. The TLM was started in 2006 from what I was told. I have been attending for seven years and 10 months now. Very wonderful and blessing. I hope you don't mind my posting this. Have blest day Ms. Cain.
Not at all. Thank you for sharing. We only have one Diocesan TLM here in the Charlotte Diocese now, which is a tragedy. I pray often for changes in the hierarchy that would allow its widespread practice.
My prayers for a speedy recovery 🙏

I am praying for you and that your surgery will be successful.
It's weird but I have been having the same problem and wonder if my tonsils are also the problem as I was told they are large. Will see my doctor.
Sarah,
